mapLlywernog Mine is on the A44, 10½ miles (15 minutes) west of Aberystwyth and the Ceredigion coast, 45 minutes from Aberaeron, Machynlleth and Rhyader.

Opening times
Mid March to October 31st: 10 am – 6 pm; Last admissions at 4.15 pm (later in July and August).
We are closed on Mondays except in Holidays and in July & August (open 7 days a week).
Closed Saturdays in September and October.
The mine is open for pre-booked groups of 20 or more visitors during the winter months (November – March).

Admission Charges
Adults £4.95; Students/Seniors citizens £3.95; Children (4-15 years old) £2.95; Family (2+2) £14.00 (additional children in the family group are charged at just £1.50 each up to a maximum of four).
Free admission for under 4’s (Only allowed on the underground tours when wearing protective headgear at all times).
Group bookings: Discounts for School parties and other groups of 15 or more. Ask for details.

Facilities
Souvenir and gift shop specialising in minerals, jewellery and Brass miners’ lamps. Cosy tea room with light refreshments. Picnic site for sunny days.
